Do blog do Expe:
O Quase Famosos de 2002 finalmente dá as caras:
'PARTY' ANIMALS!
IAN BROWN, TRAVIS, PET SHOP BOYS and TONY WILSON were amongst the stars who joined cast members at the LONDON premiere of '24 HOUR PARTY PEOPLE' last night (March 26).
The first public screening of the film, based on the story of the rise and fall of Wilson's Factory Records empire and the Manchester music scene of the early 90s, took place at the Soho Curzon in central London.
Actor Steve Coogan, who plays Wilson in the film was the star of the premiere, which was also attended by Placebo singer Brian Molko, New Order bassist Peter Hook, comedian Johnny Vegas, Toploader's Dan Hipgrave and ex-James singer Tim Booth.
Following the premiere, a party was held in the London Astoria, which was decorated in a Hacienda style. Amongst the guests at the party were Chrissie Hynde, Howard Marks and former Stone Roses vocalist Ian Brown.
Speaking exclusively to NME.COM after the film, Ian Brown said his reservations about the making of '24 Hour Party People' dissipated after seeing it.
He said: "When I first found out they were making it I thought it was bullshit because I'm not into nostalgia but now I've seen it I'm made up that they made it. It's really good. It was brilliant. I like Joy Division, I saw them when I was a kid."
The film opens nationwide on April 5.
----------------------
