BELLE AND SEBASTIAN have named their eagerly awaited new album 'DEAR CATASTROPHE WAITRESS'.
The 'proper' follow-up to 2000's 'Fold Your Hands Child, You Walk Like A Peasant' (the band released a soundtrack album, 'Storytelling', in 2002) is their first for new label Rough Trade, and is out on October 6. The LP was produced by Trevor Horn, famous for his work with Tatu and Frankie Goes To Hollywood.

Belle And Sebastian are currently start a short US tour in Brooklyn tonight (August 19) before 8,000 fans, and UK dates are expected to be announced shortly.
As previously revealed on NME.COM, the band are set to release their first DVD, 'Fans Only', which features videos, live performances and TV appearances, later this year.
